Biographical Sketch:
Son of John Henry & Catharine A. (Reiner)Connor. Mother of German ancestry. Served as a clergyman in Kingston then Concord, NH, then in Boston from 1866-74. !874-80, active in the literary world; part owner & editor of Nation (NY) and contributor to many publications. In 1880, began preaching in East Saginaw, founding the First Unitarian Society there; later built a church there. Later studied law & admitted to the bar. Member of the board of education of East Saginaw.
