Biographical Sketch:
Son of Ferris and Ema J. (Bailey) Fitch. Came to Michigan around 1849. He farmed until 1875. From 1863-65, he was deputy register of deeds and employed in the abstract office. He returned to the register's office in Ingham Co., 1875. He took charge of the abstract office from 1878-86. He was a member of the School Board of Mason in the late 1880s. He was president of Mason Water and Electric Light Company.
