Biographical Sketch:
Of Polish ancestry.
He was president of Fireside Printing and Publishing Co.
Became associated with his father, a pioneer building contractor in the firm of Rozycki Brothers Co. of Detroit. Beginning 1938 general manager of the Fireside Printing and Publishing Co., Detroit.
Served as chairman of the 1st Congressional District Democratic Organization for 4 years. Member of Knights of Columbus, Polish National Alliance, Detroit Typographical Union, and numerous civic and fraternal organizations.
Notable Facts:
Elected in special election 1955; served until retirement in 1974.
Died in Florida, age 94. Last residence was Fort Myers, FL.
SR 318, 2002 Senate Journal, p. 2525, indicated tha the had died. No date or place of death.
Participated in Democratic Party activities beginning in 1934 and served in various executive positions including that of chairman of the 1st Congressional District Democratic Organization for 4 years.
