He was owner of Zollar Farms; president, Aircraft Components; Riverside Enterprises, Inc.; Zollar-Greening Nurseries, Inc. He was an aviation instructor. He was a member of the Elks, Rotary, American Legion, Moose, Fraternal Order of Police, Farm Bureau, Aircraft Owners and Pilot's Association.
He served on the Benton Harbor Market Board, Benton Township Housing Commission, Michigan Commission of Agriculture, Pearl School Board, and Southwest Michigan Strawberry Growers Association.
Recipient of District Award to Agriculture in 1965.
