Griffin; former college instructor; former manager of Mackinac Island Chamber of Commerce while working his way through college and law school. Member of State Bar of Michigan, Harvard Club, Sigma Chi; member, Albion College Board of Trustees. Admitted to practice of law before U.S. Supreme Court, 1970. Selected by Michigan Jaycees as One of Five Outstanding Young Men of Michigan, 1970.
