Biographical Sketch:
He worked for his father Adolph's Damman Hardware chain. He was a retail executive; former Troy City Commissioner, 1969-1970; vice president, Troy Rotary Club; member of Sacred Heart Church; member of Greater Detroit Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Damman chaired the state's Bicentennial Commission. He worked in real estate in Troy, MI for several years before founding Austin-based [TX] QuantumDigital Inc. His funeral as 2/28/2011 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Austin.

Notable Facts:
lieutenant governor under Republican Gov. William Milliken in 1975-79. Died in Texas SCR 12, 2011 Senate Journal, p. 252, reported that he had died. No date or place of death.
