Biographical Sketch:
Son of Charles and Eliza J. Richardson. After farming and managing the family farm for several years, he opened a general store in Jamestown Center until 1883. In 1884, he repurchased the drug department. He served as school director, school inspector, justice of the peace [2 terms] and township clerk [8 terms]. Secretary of Michigan Union Silver Party, 1899. Moved to Washington state in 1904; mayor of Kennewick, WA, 1914-16.
