Biographical Sketch:
Son of Mr. Jena Clark. During summers, while young, he worked as a tanner along side his father. His father died not long after relocating to a farm. Enlisted in Company I, 2nd Vermont Infantry, 9/10/1861. Discharged 10/31/1862 due to injury. When he returned to Vermont, he trained to be a blacksmith but did not pursue the profession. Located in Victory Township, Mason County, 1885. Served as township supervisor for 10 years.
