Biographical Sketch:
Of Scotch-Irish descent. Son of James and Ann (Dunn) Duncan.He was connected with the Detroit Journal for 19 years before entering the House. He was actively identified with the organized labor movement for over 20 years . He filled the office of president and secretary of Detroit Typographical union No. 18, and the Detroit Trades Council and was the first secretary - treasurer of the Michigan Federation of Labor.
