Biographical Sketch:
Son of John Dunstan. Emigrated in 1869, naturalized in 1876. He settled in the Keweenaw peninsula in 1969. He worked int he copper mines for 2 years before training to be a teacher. He taught for 15 years. In 1888, he became the local manager for a lumber and real estate business before taking a clerical position in various copper manufacturinng establishments in Dollar Bay, MI. Served as justice of the peace. Member of the Masons.
