Biographical Sketch:
Son of Joseph W. and Mary (Himelberger Boone) Durham. In 1894, he purchased the elevator at Coopersville, and engaged in the grain and coal trade. He was also a member of the firm of Durham and Thomas engaged in local fire insurance. He served as village councilman, township treasurer and supervisor. In 1930, he was the president of a bank.
