Biographical Sketch:
He entered the railroad business in 1903 and held several official positions, resigning as assistant superintendent in 1913 to engage in real estate business. Served four terms as mayor of Houghton and six terms as supervisor of Portage township. He was again elected mayor of Houghton in 1926 and 1928. Associated with Masonic orders, Elks and Knights of Pythias.
