Biographical Sketch:
Member Macomb County Taxpayers, Kiwanis, Knights of Columbus. Admiin Ast., Private Industry Council; mediator, Washtenaw County Prosecutor Consumer Assistance Division; former president, Ann Arbor Young Republicans; Macomb County Commissioner. He moved to Florida after being expeled from the Senate.

Notable Facts:
Served in both chambers. House Committees: Liquor Control, Corps. & Fins. Named Man of Year, State Young Reps., 1985. Under term limits was one of only 8 State Senators eligible to run for the senate in 2002. Senate Committees: Economic Development, International Trade, and Regulatory Affairs; Families, Mental Health, and Human Services; Financial Services; Hunting, Fidhing, and Forestry (chair). First state senator in Michigan's history to be ousted from the State Senate, 2001; most cited were his three drunken-driving convictions.
