Biographical Sketch:
A registered pharmacist who owned and operated a drug store in Grand Rapids, MI for 35 years.
He was a member of the city commission of Grand Rapids from 1934-1944 and a member of the Kent County Board of Supervisors from 1930-1944. Member, Elks; Lions; American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars; Knights of Columbus; B.P.O.E; Disabled War Veterans; Military Order of the Purple Heart.
Notable Facts:
Served overseas in WWI, in the Chemical Warfare service, was wounded in action and received the purple heart and the presidential citation.
Died in February 1974; last residence was Grand Rapids, MI.
