Served as exec. dir. of the Michigan State Fair; on the Macomb Bd 1989-?. Once the youngest member of the Wayne Co. Bd of Commissioners; Dir. of Agriculture in the 1980s. Brother Curtis was the last Dem. speaker of the House, succeeding his brother, Dennis, who went from the state House to the US House, leaving after the 1992 election.
