Notable Facts:
On July 25, 1957, following a Planning Commission meeting, he was shot 6 times by building contractor Lester Ellerhorst, who was angered by city officials' criticism of his work on the Garden City police station.
HCR 22, 1981 House Journal, p. 70, indicated that he had died. No date or place of death indicated in the resolution. Social Security Index indicated that he died in December 1980, and his last residence was in Holiday, Florida.
