Biographical Sketch:
Son of William J. and Alice (Cast) Weber. Taught school in Wisconsin 1919-20; superintendent of schools in Plum City, WI 1922-25; 1932-37 taught at college level in Minnesota and Texas. His tenure as a professor of Political Science at Western Michigan University from 1937-52 was interupted by his military service. Served 42 months in the Navy during World War II; released from service as a Commander. 1952-65 he headed the Dept of Political Science at WMU, becoming a professor again briefly from 1965-66 before being elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in 1966.

Notable Facts:
Professor of Political Science at Western Michigan University (1937-66); member of American Legion, Boy Scouts, Red Cross, Community Chest, Crippled Children, PTA, Elks, Borgess-Bronson Hospital Drive, as well as many political organizations, especially in Kalamazoo County, MI.
