Biographical Sketch:
Son of Silas Thompson. Left Dutchess Co. at age 21, sttleing, with his father, in Schoharie County, on a large farm.. He moved to Perinton, Monroe co., NY in 1823, remaining on that frm until moving to Michigan. He settled in Madison, MI in 1834, owning several farms before moving into Adrian. He served as supervisor [1837-39, 1943 and 1953 and justice of the peace.

Notable Facts:
Died at the home of his son-in-law William Hart, of Hudson.
