Biographical Sketch:
Son of robert and Sarah (Reed) Kirk.He came to Michigan from Canada in 1861 and in 1867 went to Pike's Peak and celebrated the laying of the last rail of the Union Pacific R. R. He returned to Michigan in 1871 and located on a farm. He held various offices in his township; was Supervisor, and also president of the Tuscola County Agricultural Society. In 1900 he was living in Fairgrove, MI. Moved to Caro in 1919.
