He served as chairman of the county committee for 6 years. Moved to Marshall, MI around 1921. He was associated with Sandy... Brothers in the hardware and automobile business for a long time, and served as supervisor of the fourth ward for a number of years until the death of his wife in 1928. Member of the Masons, the Knights of Pythias, Knights of the Maccabees and the Modern Woodmen.
