Biographical Sketch:
Son of John P. and Sarah S. (Barnes) Wade. He taught school for 2 years while reading law before entering University of Michigan. He practiced law in Fennville and served as village counsel. He was living in Manlius, Allegan Co. in 1900 and Grand Rapids in 1910. After leaving office he served with the bureau of markets under the US Dept of Agriculture in Washington, DC for 5 years [1918-23]. He returned to Fennville to practice law and grow fruit with his brother. He moved to California in 1938. Member of the Masons.
