Biographical Sketch:
Worked as a bookkeeper in banks and later operated a florist business, which he was doing when serving in the legislature.
Was the director and treasurer of the Detroit Democratic club, which he helped to organize, a director in the Chene street business men's association and a member of several lodges. In 1932 was a presidential elector and cast his vote for Franklin D. Roosevelt.
