Of German ancestry. Son of Henry L. Schuch & Catherine R. Heurich-Schuch. Trustee of Michigan Historical society. Charter member of American Legion & served as Post Commander & drum major. Was mess sergeant for three National Guard encampments w/ 32nd Regiment at Camp Graying. Also recorder in classification office , Columbus barracks, WWI. Owner of the Schuch Hotel in Saginaw. Hobby: collecting early Michigan historical data and had a private museum of over 50,000 pieces.
