Biographical Sketch:
Son of Ephraim Lacey. Resident of Ohio in 1805; settled in Richmond, IN in 1820 where he was an editor for five years. Settled at Niles, MI in 1829. President of the village [1856-58] and Mayor of the city of Niles [1859]. Delegate from the 14th District to the Constitutional Convention of 1835.

Notable Facts:
Brother of Rep. Obed P. Lacey. Died in office, 1862; obituary was dated 8/14/1862, date of death not determined. Died during the session.
