Basic Training Boot Camp for GSRP Teaching Staff

This six-hour online professional learning is designed to familiarize learners with the basic rules, guidelines and structures expected in GSRP programs. Learning will focus on the Classroom Requirements section of the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) Implementation Manual to support understanding and implementation. Learners will reflect on their own documents and practices in comparison with the requirements and resources provided by the MDE and Oakland Schools to self-assess strengths and areas of opportunity. Learners will be engaged with the material, other learners, and the presenter through online formats including an initial webinar, simulation modules, and on-line discussion forums. Materials shared will be made available on-line or for pick-up at Oakland Schools. The six-hour online session is broken up into twelve 30-minute modules.
