Biographical Sketch:
Son of Nancy (Babcock) Campbell. Located in Wexford County to work for Clam Lake News (later Cadillac News and Express), 1877. Shortly thereafter, located in Sherman and purchased one-half interest in the Wexford County Pioneer. Sold this interest in 1878 and became postmaster of Sherman until 1881. Moved to Manton at that time and in 1883, purchased the Manton Tribune. Served as postmaster in Manton. Returned to Sherman after selling Manton Tribune and entering the drug business.
