Transferred to Company C, U.S. Veteran Reserve Corps, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 12/28/1863. Served as township clerk for eight years. Postmaster of Romulus for four years. Member, Michigan House of Representatives 3rd District Wayne County, 1893-96.
