Biographical Sketch:
Son oF Billy and Grant (Stover) Smith. Served in the Marines from 1943-45. He was an analyst/ specification specialist for Ford Motor Company. He served as supervisor of Ypsilanti Township, MI, 1959-66 and on the Washtenaw County Board of Supervisors, chairman of the board in 1966. From 1973 to 1974, he served as Saline City Administrator. In 1984, he was elected to the Washtenaw Board of Commissioners and served through 1992.
