Biographical Sketch:
Son of Albern H. and Harriett L. (Tuttle) Raymond. His family moved to Lenawee, MI from New York in 1837. His father died when Selah was 16. He served as highway commissioner, 1876-1879; township clerk, 1879-1882 and as township supervisor, 1882-1887.
