Biographical Sketch:
Polish descent. Organizer and President of the Wilkowski Hardware Co., the Joy Farm Hardware Co. and the Paramount Hardware Co. He served in the Michigan Constitutional Convention, 1961-19632.

Notable Facts:
Served in MI senate: 1933-38;45-46;49-50. In 1936 was tried & convicted w/ Democratic state chairman Elmer B. O'Hara on vote fraud charges; sentenced to 4-5 years in prison. Candidate in 1940 primary for Lt Governor. Member of the Polish National Alliance, the Polish Falcons, the Natives and the Knights of Columbus. Served 3 years in the US army, honorably discharged.
