Biographical Sketch:
He was an automotive designer for both General Motors and Ford, and served for decades in both local and state offices, including Hazel Park City Councilman, Oakland County Supervisor and County Commissioner and 3 years as the Pontiac city manager in the 1970s. He worked for the National Alliance of Business after his recall, and then for the UAW/General Motors Resource Center until he retired to Fenton. Named to the Michigan Job Training Council and served for 2 terms as the president of the Michigan Mental Health Association

Notable Facts:
He was the first legislator in Michigan to be recalled, resulting from his vote in 1983 to increase the income tax. Died in 2012. memorial service held 12/15/2012, at First United Methodist Church on LeRoy Street in Fenton.
