President, Saginaw Building & Loan Association. Board member, Saginaw Ice & Coal Company; Hemmeter Cigar Company and Saginaw City Milling Company. Member, Michigan house of representatives from Saginaw County 1st District, 1895-1900. Candidate for Michigan Senate 22nd District, 1910.
