Biographical Sketch:
Served as city attorney of Adrian, Searved as assistant prosecuting attorney of Lenawee county. He founded the Michigan Parton and edited and published it from 1905-1922. Member of the Grange.
Notable Facts:
Was a senator in the Lenawee-Monroe district from 1899-1902. Deputy Dairy and Food Commission for 6 years.
Died in office. He was elected to the house of representatives November 4, 1930. He was re-elected to the legislature of 1933-1934. He was re-elected to the legislature of 1935-1936.
According to House Concurrent Resolution No. 3, 1938 Senate Journal, Extra Session, p. 6 he died. Prior record indicated he died 8/4/1938.
