Of Polish descent. Son of Joseph and Margaret Wierzbicki, who emigrated from Austria, though they spoke Polish. Served in World War II, and was a native of Detroit, MI. Member of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors (1964-66); served in the US Navy (1943-46) as a gunners mate, USS Sapelo (tanker); member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Polish Roman Catholic Union, and Polish National Alliance.
