Biographical Sketch:
He went to McBride, MI in 1878, employed by Wood & Thayer for seven years, then formed a partnership with a Mr. Lewis and started a general store. After one year he bought out his partner, enlarged the business and built a feed mill. He also acquired control of the only hotel in McBride.
