Biographical Sketch:
Son of George & Mamie (Saltz) Corbin. He was a football star in college and worked for Delco Remy automotive plant, joining the UAW while in college. Ordained to Church of God, 1968. Moved to Clio in 1967. Pastor Community Church of God, Clio, MI, 1967-74; commissioner Genesee Co., 1970-74; Executive Office Michigan Dept Labor, 1987—. Member Michigan Job Training Coordinating Council, 1983—; trustee Olivet (Michigan) College, 1979—. Member National Conference State Legislatures (ethics and elections committee 1977-82, conference liaison 1983—), Council State Governments, Legislative Council. In 1996, he and daughter Sally, opened Union Services Agency, providing secondary insurance for union insurance funds operating in 28 states.
