World War II Army-Infantry veteran. City councilman, Dearborn, Michigan, 1957-71; county commissioner Wayne County, 1972-78. Member Am. Legion, Mason, Moose, Kiwanis, Goodfellows, Pulaski Civic Organization. He served 39 years in public service in a span of 43 years. He served twenty years in the Michigan Senate, seven years on the Wayne County Board of Commissioners and a dozen years on the Dearborn City Council.
