Biographical Sketch:
Son of Orson William and Phyllis Jean Middaugh. Worked on a farm and taught school. Administrative assistant to Senator Charles O. Zollar 1970-1978; Adminisrative Assistant to Michigan State Sen. Harry Gast, 1979-1982; Member National Rifle Association, Farm Bureau, North America Hunting Club, Ferris State College Alumni Association (president 1975), Southwestern Michigan Association Law Enforcement Officers. After leaving office, he taught American government at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and has taught at several other colleges. He also was a member of the state Judicial Tenure Commission, serving at one point as chairman, and did doing public relations work for Consumers Energy.
