Biographical Sketch:
Son of Russel and Audrey Fredricks. Assistant to US Rep. Guy VanderJagt, 1967 and was executive director of Richard Nixon's campaign in Michigan, 1968. In the early 1970s he was in diplomatic service, serving first as vice consul to the U.S. Embassy in South Korea, and then from 1973 to 1974 at the U.S. Department of State as a political officer in the Bureau of International Organization Affairs. he was chair of the Michigan Conservative Union while serving in the legislature. He dropped out of public life after an unsuccessful run for US Congress.
