Biographical Sketch:
Son of Frank Billy and Evelyn Ann (McHenry) Allen. He grew up in Pinconning, MI. He was an English teacher at Pinconning High School, 1968-71, and advisor to the school newspaper and yearbook. He also taught at Ogemaw Hts. High School, West Branch, 1971-78. He was elected Ogemaw Township supervisor, 1977-78. He was county coordinator for Frank Kelley for Senate, 1974; Sander Levin for Governor, 1974; Donald Riegle for Senate, 1976; del. Dem. National Convention, 1976; chairman Ogemaw County Dem. Member Michigan State Dem. Central Committee; mem.-at-large Michigan State Dem. Party. Member National Rifle Association, Lion, Moose, Eagles, Farm Business, Knights of Columbus. (charter).
