Committee, MI, 1956-60; pres. Saginaw Co. Dem. Club, 1958-60; member Dem. State Central Committee, 1959-63, 8th Congl. District chairman, 1962-64, re-elected 1974. Sec.-treas. Catholic Cemetery Commission, 1960-62. He suffered a stroke in 1981 and diabetes cost him to loose parts of both feet. He owned a children's clothing store until 1962. Member Knights of Columbus; Michigan Alcohol and Addiction Association.
